Delicious, beautitul food. Good cocktails. Very friendly, warm service. Pleasant, cosy yet elegant interior. Soft background music, dim lighting. Portions could be slightly bigger. Warmly recommended!

A Geneva Gem! I recently here with two friends after work. We were looking for a central spot that offered great food and wine, and this place did not disappoint! Tucked between two pedestrian streets, it offers outdoor seating and a beautiful, softly lit interior. Cosy and elegant, it’s ideal for dining with friends, colleagues, family, or a date. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who escorted us to the chef’s table and offered us an aperitif. The view into the bustling kitchen added an extra layer of excitement to our dining experience. We started with the scallops and beetroot. As someone who has always been on the fence about beetroot, I can now truly say I’m a convert! The dish was not only beautifully presented (see photo), but surprisingly tasty. I opted for the honey-glazed duck (cooked to perfection) and finished with the homemade strawberry and basil sorbet as the perfect palette cleanser to round out a delicious meal. Run don't walk to the Metropole restaurant! (note: not to be confused with the nearby hotel of the same name.)
